Kalibrierungsumgebung: (23 ± 2) °C, < 70 % relative Luftfeuchtigkeit

Gültigkeit: Dieser Referenzblock ist nur für die Skala gültig, für die er kalibriert wurde. Es wird empfohlen, Referenzhärteprüfblöcke alle 5 Jahre zu ersetzen. Blöcke aus Aluminiumlegierungen und Kupferlegierungen sollten innerhalb von 2 bis 3 Jahren ersetzt werden.

Unsicherheit: Die erweiterte Unsicherheit basiert auf einer Standardunsicherheit, multipliziert mit einem Faktor (k=2), was einem Vertrauensniveau von etwa 95 % entspricht. Die Bewertung der Unsicherheit erfolgt gemäß internationalen Anforderungen.
